Recruitments in India are one among the biggest challenge for all companies big or small. The “problem of aplenty” is actually taking its toll on the recruitments forcing companies to crisscross the country trawling for candidates with quality. A virtual boom in the number of colleges, without the matching growth in academic resources quality, has deeply eroded employability. Companies today need to train these recruits for up to six months before they can assume an entry level responsibility. Recent studies indicate the biggest challenge for recruiters is almost zero knowledge of any industrial experience among the recruits, which makes it a priority to train the recruits in essential “Job skills”, which incidentally consumes almost 12 to 16 weeks of the 24 weeks training provided to them. CEO’s and human resource managers say that they are ready to hire those who demonstrate a high level of "soft skills" and then train them for the specific jobs available.
